THE NUREMBERG LAWS

Hello readers today I will be talking about The Nuremberg laws

The reason the Nuremberg Laws came into place is that the Nazis thought the Jews belonged to another race, inferior to all other races. The Nazis believed that the presence of German Jews threatened the German people. They believed that Jews from other Germans had to be separated in order to protect and strengthen Germany. The Nuremberg Law was an important step in achieving this goal.

  1. Provide two examples of ways in which the Nuremberg laws affected the rights of German Jews.

the law said the Jews can’t Marry or have sexual relations with Germans or German-related blood and they passed a decree that no Jewish soldiers could be named on the ww1 memorials.

  1. What other actions were taken that discriminated against Jews in Germany? (Remembering)

Jewish physicians are excluded from the list of doctors approved to receive patients under welfare and health insurance plans.

  1. Why do you think that the Nazis passed these laws? (Understanding)

The Nazis enacted the Nuremberg Laws because they wanted to put their ideas about race into law. They believed in the false theory that the world is divided into distinct races that are not equally strong and valuable.

  1. If a New Zealand government passed a law that provided for different treatment of a named racial group in New Zealand, what do you think the reaction of most New Zealand people would be? Why do you think this might be the case? (Applying)

Fright. Because New Zealand is a Diverse country.

  1. Do you think these Nuremberg laws were racist? Explain your point of view. (Evaluating)

Yes because they were pointed to a certain group of people.
