Climate change at Orana wildlife park

This Tuesday we went to Orana wildlife park with WH and TS because we were a large group we got split into three groups I think TS went with their guide Bethany and WH went with their guide Elizabeth and we went with Richard our guide.

First, we went to see the meerkats then the Kea and then we had lunch and we went into the lemur enclosure the lemur was asleep and then went to the Kiwi enclosure it was dark because kiwis are nocturnal animals which they wake up in the night and go to sleep in the day and then we saw the lions sleeping and then we saw the tiger the poor tiger was all by himself because his twin has Cancer and died and so we went to see the African wild dogs and they were on the other side of the hill so we went to see the rhinoceros and then we saw the giraffes and we saw the African wild dogs and it was scary because they were watching us and then we went to the gorilla enclosure and looked at the gorilla and left the enclosure and then we got our bags and we left Orana park.

1. Sellotape
2. glad-wrap
3. tin foil 
4. scissors 
5. black plastic
6. pizza box
7. straw
8. plate 
9. marshmallow
10. cookie

Steps: 1 cut out the flap on the lid of the pizza box so that is 5cm around the edge  

2 Sellotape some tinfoil on the inside of the flap   

3 Sellotape some glad-wrap so that the hole you have cut on the pizza box lid is covered over with glad-wrap  

4 put a piece of black plastic on the bottom of the inside of the pizza box  

5 Make a paper square that fits inside the pizza box and lays around the edge  

6 Put a marshmallow on top of a square

7Put it in the sun to cook

so I found out that the field had the highest spins with 80 spins per minute and 13-20kpm the Beaufort force was 3 then the Old J Block with 60 spins per minute that 1 spin per second. The Beaufort force was 6-12 then the Green Hill In The New Kahuis with 40 spins per minutes wind speed was the same as the Old J Block 6-12 then last The Court Gate with 12 spins per minute wind speed.

Highlights & low lights in the school holidays

HIGHLIGHTS

#1 my birthday: on Monday the 7th of October it was my birthday and I turned 13 years old and I was at my nanny's house for my birthday in Ashburton. I woke up at 10:47 in the morning and I saw my great nanny and great grandfather ( but we call them nanny and poppa) talking to each other and then I went to sleep again and this time I woke up at 2:49 in the afternoon and  had cake but it was a muffin-sized cake so it was a muffin but it was delicious because it had melted chocolate and then I had my shower and then got changed into my clothes then I said goodbye to my 2 nanny's and poppa. Then my nanny gave me 50$ from them and I was excited and I said thanks to them

At 3:26 in the afternoon, we went to my nanny in Hornby and she was at home with her three cat's Nugget, Lilly, Mac Mac. We played outside in the swing that I and my cousin always swing on when we were little kids and it was to play on because it brings me back memories about when I was a little kid playing with my cousin (who is now in intermediate school.) then we played Hide and Seek and I found my brother in the old spa that me and my cousin used to always go in before bed and then he said"what is this" and I replied "its the spa that me and your older cousin used to play in when we were little". he was amazed he thought that I was never a little child then I got another 50$ from my nanny in Hornby and then my dad texted me saying do you want son? and said ok and so he gave me 50$ and said thanks, dad then we went to pet center in Hornby and I saw a pet rat and they were so cute and soft that I asked my mum for 2 because rats can get lonely when there is only one so we are still thinking about keeping a rat as a pet still and I hope I get one I mean two.
